We picked up a mint condition vintage set of Homer Laughlin dishes from 1950 at an estate sale. Our old flatware looked cheap next to the beautiful dishes. We bought four 20 piece sets of River and absolutely love them. Superior quality and they really finish off the table. Having a dinner party on Saturday with a dozen friends and the wife couldn't be happier.

I chose the flatware pattern River because it feels sturdy and has a great luster.
