Love the Windemere teaspoons
Got the Windermere teaspoon set and the Windermere tablespoon set, because over the years many of these have mysteriously vanished from our flatware drawer. (I know the garbage disposal ate a few of them.). Our original flatware is a discontinued style from Williams-Sonoma, and I tried to find matching replacements without success. I decided to save up for another Williams-Sonoma set and in the meantime get some Gourmet Settings ones as a stop gap.
Well, forget that I am now planning to just get more Windemere

I've owned 4 settings of the Windermere for many years and love them I recently bought another 4 settings as well as additional pieces and will not use any other flatware. This design is very simple but classic. Its weight is perfectly balance and the pieces are all a great size (being a little bigger than maybe normal, but for someone with large hands and big mouths to feed, they are perfect)

I purchased the Fish serving set as well as a few extra serving spoons. I do love these, and already have a full set. Two pieces came with flaws. I wrote to contact the company to ask how to have these two pieces replaced but have yet to hear from them. I do trust it will be straightened out, but as of this moment, several weeks have passed and I have not heard back.

I am so pleased with my purchase of the Windermere placesettings...they are simple, yet elegant. ..great for entertaining or everyday use. It is a huge decision to purchase someting you will see everyday...I am so happy with the product, the customer service, and the weight of the silverware. In the stores, you see many mfgrs, but GS is made of 18/10 stainless...GS is true quality and the spoons do not have a rough edge...they are just wonderful. First purchased a few teaspoons at TJ MAXX and was sold on the quality after first washing...I have never written a review, but felt compelled to write one because the other reviews helped me make my decision and I am 100% satisfied.

I bought the fish serving set -- knives, forks and serving spatula and fork. They are terrific. Nice and hefty in the hand but elegant. Nothing cheap or light weight about them. It is extremely difficult to find these kinds of traditional, European fish knives and forks in the U.S., at least, so I was thrilled to find them at GS. I highly recommend them. They are perfect.

I bought my first Windermere set at Home Goods several years ago. When I needed to replace a few lost pieces, I thought it would be impossible to find the same pattern. I was pleasantly surprised to find this website. I ordered 63-pc set and extra teaspoons and I could not be happier with my purchase. This flatware is excellent value for the money. It is very sturdy and smooth and it just feels good in my hand. I first saw the butter knives for this set at Marshall's and bought them because they were of such good quality and they had an elegance, weight, and simplicity that I just couldn't resist. I ordered the rest of the set on-line and purchased extra pieces to have settings for 12.
We were very pleased with all the pieces. They are very nicely designed and as other reviewers said, they fit in your hand nicley.
Not only is this company's flatware superb, the customer service was incredible. Probably one of the best I've ever dealt with. I had a small problem which was cleared up completely. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase...well beyond my expectations.

I have had the spoons to this set for a couple of years and have loved how they keep their shine and seem to fit all occasions. I just bought the 63 pc set to fill my flatware drawer. I love the spoons, forks and serving pieces but don't particularly care for the knives. They have a much modern cut than the rest of the set and garnered chuckles from everyone at the table the first night I set them out in my farmstyle kitchen

We bought the Windermere 63 piece set around Christmas 2009. Though we live in Toronto, it took ~1.5 weeks to get here but that is probably due to the Christmas season. When we received the set we were disappointed to find a slight difference between what we ordered and what we got. We contacted gourmet settings and they had excellent customer service and couriered the missing pieces the next day, also they let us keep the pieces that were not in this set. While there are a few imperfections on a few of the untensils, this is hardly noticeable and overall for the price this set is definitely worth a 5/5

The small 7" scissor tongs are perfect for serving tossed salads in the smaller sized bowls like familes of 4-6 use. I love them (Those 10inch tongs are way too big, and they just fall out of the bowl)

I bought the "Celebration" style set of silverware and set of serving pieces. I wanted to complete the set with many other serving pieces such as the 4 Tongs, 3 Ladles and the Ice Cream Set. But they aren't made in the Celebration style so I bought them in the Windmere style which looks very nice together.
It would be great if there was open stock so I could buy extra teaspoons. And could have bought extra ice cream spoons to double as ice tea spoons but I had to buy 3 Ice Cream Sets. I think the only pieces I haven't gotten is the Cake Knife and Lasagna Server but I can't get them witout buying the full 63 piece Windmere set. Maybe there will be open stock and customers will be able to purchase any pieces they need to complete their sets.
