A great value for the cost. We actually picked up an extra 8 settings (in addition to the 8 we already had) and inadvertently got the matte finish - which we like even more than the shiny/chrome finish that the original 8 settings came in. They're so heavy duty. We love them.

This design has a graceful curve that isn't adequately visible in these photos, but lends an instant modern touch to your table. The matte finish, which was something I wasn't initially looking for, clinches the look. Love the matte finish You have to see this design in person--I wasn't surprised to see it had won awards. Someone mentioned this was too weighty for them, but they must be used to cheap flatware. You pick up a piece and "quality" is what comes to mind. Also-they are very comfortable to use. Got an 8 place setting @ Costco because I needed flatware, but coming back for more. The demitasse spoons-get them--you'll use them for serving spoons for small sauces, good size for small children, etc....

We selected a set of Carry-On flatware from Target for our wedding registry and now 10 years later we came back to buy some more for entertaining and to add serving pieces. This is by far the best flatware I have ever used: very high quality, never wears or breaks, and fits perfectly in our modern (Usonian) home.

I had purchsed a set of Park matte silverware at Costco's because I like the sturdiness of the utensils. However, there was only a setting of 8 and I kept running out so I ordered the added the separate carry ons as well as anothe set. I like the feel of the untensil in my hand when using and the sturdiness of the handle. It does not bend when used.

My brother gave me his set of the Carry On 6 years ago, and my husband and I loved it so much we bought an additional set along with the small Demitasse spoons (which are WONDERFUL for dessert spoons). The Carry-On design is very simple and will blend with any kitchen decor

I purchased the "Park" flatware at CostCo and felt it was too heavy, so I returned it and purchased Carry On directly from GS since it was a lesser gauge. However, it was just as heavy, and I couldn't get comfortable using it, so I returned that too.

This silverware is exactly what I was looking for for years. I is simple and elegant at the same time. The solid and functional shape of the different pieces make this design unique. I love the butter spreaders that I use as desert knives.

I ordered 2 sets of the butter knives and an extra serving set. (I entertain a lot). Though the extra pieces are the "Carry On" they match perfectly

I must say, I have never owned flatware like this It is incredible quality and designed perfectly. The weight is perfect and looks like a million bucks I have recommended Gourmet Settings to all of my friends and family. Typical flatware brands don't hold a candle to Gourmet Settings Bravo
