We had just redecorated our home to reflect our Celtic heritage and this Avalon set couldn't have been more perfect if I had designed it myself The balance, hand and mouth feel, and visual beauty of this extraordinarily crafted tableware cannot be overstated. It is perfect and I doubt I will ever replace it. The superior quality is that of old world craftsmanship that can be handed down for generations...ironically, matching sets that may have already been family heirlooms for ages. Bravo

I absolutely love my set of avalon flat ware. I have never been so happy with a purchase of my home. That sounds funny, but as a former art jeweler, I feel that it is like using a piece of art to eat from. I love the weight of the utensils and the patina of the metal. People come over to eat and exclaim "Where did you get this silverware"?
My husband loves to eat with it also. He is a big guy and has complained about the utensils I have bought through the years. He said that I finally found a set that fits him. The weight and balance of the pieces is perfect. I am very pleased.

WE LOVE AVALON 5 STARS
I admired this pattern for several years, but already had an expensive and nice set from another company in our original, upper-kitchen.
Recently, we added a second kitchen to our home, one with an old-world medieval theme, and this pattern was made for the new, lower-kitchen. We've purchased 24 5-piece place settings, plus multiples of all the available serving pieces, including the minispoons, cocktail forks, and spreaders. I even purchased another 4 5-piece place setting for future lose replacement. :-)
